We completed our survey by talking with 15 Ruths Chris hosts and hostesses between 6:30-8:30 on Friday, October 6th.The question we asked was the following “how long of a wait would it be for a party of 4 with no reservations?”.
The average wait time was 34 minutes but many of the locations called has no wait time like Phoenix, Arizona and Columbus Ohio. On the other end of the spectrum the wait in Dallas, Texas was over 2 hours and the bar was the only hope offered for our party of 4. Indianapolis was also busy quoting wait times of over 50 minutes at both locations in that city.
By itself our data does not mean alot but will be interesting to compare over time. We will re-visit the Ruths Chris survey in coming weeks.
